“ The impeccable "Il Monsignore" restaurant, a fully restored historic "Santa Cristina" residence, immersed in greenery and tranquility. We went for lunch. I was unfamiliar with this sophisticated, elegant, and refined location. Three couples were treated to a menu that was traditional that day. But chef Alessandro will also amaze you with his sophisticated dishes, gourmet because he's always striving for innovation. The dining room staff was friendly and professional. Every course was a delightful explosion of flavors. I won't list all the many courses, but I can simply say that lunch began with an excellent eggplant parmigiana accompanied by freshly baked bread. What can I say about the amazing paccheri with ragù, so popular they even offered us seconds. We couldn't help but end the meal with an excellent babà. An experience we absolutely must repeat. ”

“ Passing through Venafro, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant, an event venue with a meticulously maintained outdoor space adorned with various trees, including weeping willows. We were pleasantly welcomed by owner Gabriella, a young entrepreneur who, together with her husband, has been running this restaurant since 2018. We began with a welcome glass of prosecco accompanied by original and delicious finger foods, including a curl of cherry tomato butter, an oil mousse, homemade olive bread served warm, and other delicacies. For our appetizer, Gabriella recommended the savory sfogliatella filled with cod mousse, on a bed of broccoli—a true delight! Next up was a cod fillet with cherry tomatoes and garlic on a bed of asparagus, and a portion of monkfish with crumble, on a bed of agretti. The food was delicious and beautifully plated, as well as beautifully presented by Gabriella. We had a good time, highly recommended! ”

The starter was a pleasant experience of local flavors, but with an exceptional twist! Then we had the stuffed sfogliatella (sausage, potatoes, etc.) FABULOUS. First, paccheri with hand-cut white heifer ragù, excellent and plentiful! Second, slow-cooked rib with pepper and barbecue sauce, a dish I can't describe, you have to try it! Exceptional!!! The meat melted in your mouth!!! Then came the dessert. Also, when the coffee arrived, another generous portion of excellent mignon! I forgot about the warm loaf of bread that accompanied the delicious dinner! I also highly recommend the Molise wine to accompany it!
